Woo Hoo -- it's Fall!

My favorite time of year. I LOVE the sights, the colors, and the smells. Fall brings with it lots of wonderful things -- crisp air, apple cider, pumpkins, corn mazes, spices (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg), and of course leaves in all their glorious colors, just to name a few. Fall also brings a son's birthday and an anniverary! Best of all, Fall begins the countdown -- Halloween, Thanksgiving, and right around the corner -- Christmas!

  1. "crisp air"- I wish. supposedly we are going to see a high of 108 sometime in the coming week. (today was only 105) It won't begin to start feeling like fall for another month around here. :(

  2. Well technically, the only "crisp air" we've really had has been in the evenings. There has been a day or two of cooler weather (65)but we are still in the 80s.

  3. Are leaves started turning in August! Now there all falling off the trees. I miss my Oregon falls!! We only get yellow leaves but sometimes a little orange. Although the fireweed does turn red which is nice:) I really miss pumpkin patches and fresh apples from the apple orchards.
